Do You Need a Sports Chiropractor?

Are you a person that loves the outdoors? Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and climbing are all athletic endeavors and the treatment of the injuries from these require special training and experience

At Summit Chiropractic and Rehab we are sports chiropractic specialists. All of our doctors have further education and experience in treating joints other than the spine, as well as the soft tissues and muscles that surround the joints. We utilize a combination of soft tissue therapies including ART, needle therapies, and many forms of rehabilitation to help you get back into action.

Spinal and Extremity manipulation are safe procedures that can be used to increase range of motion and decrease pain in joints.

Once joints are moving properly, it is important to stabilize them and incorporate proper movements and exercises to have a lasting effect. The rehabilitation tools that we give patients are a big part of keeping them healthy in the long term.

Soft tissues such as muscles and other connective structures can cause pain both locally, as well as refer pain to other areas. We have many manual therapies that can address soft tissue dysfunctions.

The Movement system is exposed to our vagaries and can only defend itself from such abuse by creating pain
